How we provide your healthcare

We have improved the way you are able to consult with a health professional, and now offer the following:

  • Face to Face appointments
  • Telephone appointments
  • Video appointments

You are able to request the type of appointment you prefer – the clinician will do their best to meet this depending on appropriateness and availability.  If you are not being seen face-to-face, we have the option of seeing a photo of the issue prior to speaking to you, so that we can quickly and efficiently provide your care.

You may also be signposted to clinical colleagues that are well placed to provide expert and timely advice:

  • Pharmacists (for minor conditions)
  • Optometrists (for eye conditions)
  • Dentists (for tooth conditions)
  • Mental Health teams (for mental health concerns)
  • Social Prescribing Link Workers (for non-clinical advice including benefits and social concerns)
  • Citizens Advice Bureau (for non clinical concerns)
  • Family Planning allied services (for termination of pregnancy, vasectomy, and family planning advice)
